“When I was four years old, I began having vivid visions of celestial landscapes, colors beyond imagination, and beings of pure light.”
Raised in an immigrant family, apart from religious instruction or imagery, little Akiane Kramarik insisted she was seeing another world—one she needed to paint. By age eight, the self-taught prodigy, already known for realistic artwork and poetry, created Prince of Peace, a portrait of Jesus that launched her onto the world stage overnight. Millions were transfixed, skeptics wept, and Akiane’s “face of love” became one of the most recognized depictions of Jesus in the modern era.
Then, the painting vanished.
For sixteen years, Prince of Peace lay hidden. Yet through widespread scrutiny and personal sacrifice, Akiane remained dedicated to conveying her experience of God’s love—a love that fueled her craft. Akiane grew from a child prodigy into a master fine artist, creating over 400 works in obscurity, many of which have never been displayed publicly. With the recovery of Prince of Peace, she now embarks on an international tour, facing the full weight of her legacy and mission.
